Performance Improvement Instead of Performance Management

Dr. Christopher Lee, CHRO, the College of William and Mary

Shift your thinking to a 21st-century framework about leading and managing, adopt new methods, and use the right technologies to adopt a productivity improvement system. Today it is essential to establish two-way dialogue and inquiry to build rapport, trust and a partnership for performance with employees. Instead of one high-stakes, fear-based, annual bloodletting, an entirely new way of working is offered based upon a new SHRM-published book. The purpose of this system is to help employees get better, do better and feel better about their work. Learn about the groundbreaking new Performance Conversations Method.

Enhancing the Recruiting Experience with Conversational AI

Joshua Seacrest, Vice President of Client Advocacy, Paradox

Talent acquisition in higher education was never easy, and the pandemic has only made it more difficult. As budgets tighten, hiring teams are expected to do even more with less. Now more than ever, it’s critical for hiring teams to have the right tools and solutions to ensure qualified talent can find all of the information and answers they need when applying to institutions.

Joshua Secrest, VP of Client Advocacy at Paradox, knows these challenges well--as the previous TA leader across organizations like McDonald’s and Abercrombie & Fitch, he leveraged conversational AI to solve challenges for recruiters, managers, and candidates globally. In this session, he’ll discuss the opportunities conversational AI can provide to organizations that want to attract more candidates, reduce friction, and hire talent quickly.
