Announcing PeopleAdmin’s Annual Customer Award Winners
Austin, TX – August 19, 2022 – PeopleAdmin, the leading provider of solutions for higher education, recently announced the recipients of our annual customer awards at PeopleConnect Live. These awards are an opportunity to recognize and honor the exceptional work of HigherEd leaders across the country, driving innovation at their institution and impacting the people on their campuses.
PeopleAdmin Innovation Award
PeopleAdmin’s Innovation Award recognizes a higher education institution that is using technology and digital solutions in new, different, or innovative ways. They are not only better serving the needs of their campus, but helping us pave the way to better meet the needs of all of HigherEd. Congratulations to this year’s winner, California Baptist University.
Cal Baptist has undergone a digital transformation. From highly manual processes for things like onboarding, performance, reviews, and creating new positions, the university has created a holistic talent ecosystem that encompasses all processes from hire-to-retire.
PeopleAdmin Impact Award
The PeopleAdmin Impact Award recognizes a higher education institution that has made significant strides in transforming the way their team works to better service the staff, faculty, and students – making an impact on the entire campus and mission of the institution. We’re glad to congratulate this year’s winner, Northern Illinois University!
Northern Illinois University has completely overhauled many of their processes and enabled workflows that were not even on their radar before. Compliance and internal review processes were previously done on paper, but now the team has the ability to upload documents and rout them to the appropriate workflow for approval. The NIU team is also working to create EEO liaisons at the college and department level to ensure that departments are taking internal responsibility for EEO requirements and making them a natural part of the search process. These changes impact faculty and staff across the institution.
HigherEd Excellence Award
Finally, PeopleAdmin’s HigherEd Excellence Award recognizes a higher education leader who has demonstrated excellence in shepherding their team through growth, challenges or shifting priorities, with a steadfast commitment to furthering the higher education mission. The 2022 award went to Natalie Presta, Director of Information Systems at Feather River College! Congratulations, Natalie.
Natalie comes most recently from the world of banking, and has brought a unique perspective on processes and workflows to her role—one that is not often found in HigherEd. Though she has only been in her role for a short time, she has led her team through many challenges. She has made significant changes, helping her institution digitize and bringing in resources to better support her team’s efforts and drive positive results.
