PeopleAdmin Honored as Bronze Stevie® Award Winner in 2022 American Business Awards®

PeopleAdmin’s Faculty Information System recognized for market-leading innovation in 2022 American Business Awards®

Austin, TX– April 28, 2022 – PeopleAdmin, the leading provider of solutions for higher education, today announce that their Faculty Information System was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Emerging Technology Solution for Administrators category in the 20th Annual American Business Awards® today.

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. PeopleAdmin’s Faculty Information System was nominated in the Emerging Technology Solution for Administrators category for education.

PeopleAdmin’s Faculty Information System (FIS) is tackling a gap in digitization for higher education institutions. Manual systems used frequently in HigherEd lead to complex and non-transparent promotion and tenure-review. Paper processes also mean that institutions have no way to see or support data and processes across distinct disciplines and colleges. FIS streamlines and digitizes all these processes, giving faculty back the time to support their institution’s mission. Additionally, FIS is giving campuses the tools to connect faculty activity and student outcomes. The kind of connections our customers are able to make with their data were not even possible a few years ago, but thanks to new technologies and partnerships, we’ve unlocked access to insights that can give institutions an entirely new campus perspective.

“I am proud of our product team’s innovation that has shaped a solution specifically to tackle the challenges faced by faculty at colleges and universities today,” said Rishi Rana, Executive Vice President and General Manager of PeopleAdmin. “This award is a wonderful acknowledgment of PeopleAdmin’s commitment to education and student outcomes, and we’re honored to be recognized.”

As one Stevies judge noted about FIS, “PeopleAdmin has succeeded in reducing the manual effort required to populate and extract faculty data. Overcoming these difficult barriers is a huge accomplishment.” Another wrote, “[The] company is really pushing on innovation here by being market leader in the space, helping schools transition from paper to digital on faculty information and processes.”

More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
